Move over Granny - tea cosies are back in fashion! And we're loving the latest designs

'I love' and 'tea cosies' are not two phrases I ever expected to put together in the same sentence - but it's about to happen.

They've been a suprise addition to many of this season's autumn winter collections and the new, slightly more stylish designs have just caused me to develop a sudden need to own a tea cosy.

Forget the stained, tatty cosy that your Granny used to own and think bright fun designs. Cath Kidston have produced a lively take on the traditional cosy with their crochet tea cosy in bright rainbow colours. Alternatively check out Gift To Go's hand made cafitiere cosy or Not On The Highstreet's slightly bonkers floral tea cosy. However, my favourite has to be the Chocolate cake tea cosy (shown), £59, from Odd Objects.

All I need now is a teapot!!!
